Glad I could help. If you feel it was worth something please click on the "support an orphan" link on my home page, then click on CONTRIBUTE > WAYS TO GIVE and make a donation. Please know that #1) I don't get any money from it, and #2) it is a very worthy cause. With some of the bigger hunger organizations typically close to half of your donation goes to management costs/advertising, etc. That is not the case with this organization. I have seen their work firsthand.

Google "goldwave". In Goldwave, when you do a "save as" select "raw" (with the correct attributes) - it will save it as an ".snd" file. Simply rename the file extension from .snd to .raw.

Thanks for this very nice tutorial. It may be a bit offtopic, but do you know how to convert .wav files to raw data (.raw) ? I can't find an application to do the job.

Thanks

I am not sure but I believe the application will need to be re-written to take advantage of the iPhone 4 OS's multitasking ability. After I upgraded to the iPhone 4 OS, my Pandora app did not multitask until I downloaded the latest version of the Pandora app.

You must have the client open. I believe this is because the iPhone can't multitask. I'm curious to see if it works in the iPhone 4 OS.

My first guess would be connectivity... have you verified routing from the VPN connection? I.e., when VPN'd in can you reach the callmanager? I'm not AD integrated but mine works fine across 3G via the built in iPhone Cisco VPN client.

Got it to work an AD integrated system. The digest credentials apparently have nothing to do with AD - those still need to be set (password anyways). Also, the phone will then need to be associated to the user.

Only issue now is that for some reason it doesn't want to work over the VPN. I've tried over the carrier's network and my home WiFi (putting it in airplane mode) - VPN seems to be a no-go. It just times out. Let me clarify - the phone itself will connect to the VPN just fine, but the app cannot connect to our UCM server once the tunnel has been established. Any idea?

We used the "Data Migration Assistant" (DMA) tool that can be downloaded from Cisco. You must download the exact version of the DMA tool that matches the version you are going to. The DMA tools for UCM 7 can be downloaded here: http://is.gd/cZVBh (CCO login required). If memory serves, yes we went directly from 4.2.1 to 7.1.3bSU2. Read the DMA release notes. You simply install it on the Windows publisher and run a "dump". When you are installing 7.1.3 it will ask you if you wish to import data from a previous version and you answer yes, and off it goes.
